Shared lease servers (Linux-based):
Dependent on demand, we can configure one of our Base Model or Power Model servers to offer high-powered shared servers for customers not yet in need of a fully-dedicated server. These are not crowded virtual servers with everybody scrambling for resources on the machine, these are high quality, professional setups! Server management available:
- fully-managed lease servers on the RedHat Linux platform and its derivatives (including but not limited to Fedora, White Box, and CentOS)
- semi-managed lease servers on any other platform you need. Please contact us if you have questions about what kinds of configuration and assistance we can provide on your preferred operating system.
On our fully-managed RedHat and derivative servers, we help configure your IPTables firewall, perform updates on an ongoing basis, and help customize the system to work the way you need. This can include configuring quotas and initial customization of your apache, sendmail, qpopper, SNMPD, crontab, and FTPD, among other things. We do not do automated updates, all updates are done by hand when important software updates become available, and any necessary service restarts or system reboots are coordinated with the customer.
